This novel is, to put it mildly, A LOT. It is a love story, yes but it is also a maddening, frustrating, heartbreaking tale of addiction. There were multiple moments where I wanted to throttle both Charlie and Leah but ultimately I wished them well.

This is a bittersweet but beautiful book about Leah and Charlie whose love story begins when Leah moves to join a writer‘s cohort. Charlie seems wonderful and she falls head over heels, but there‘s something lurking that doesn‘t feel quite right.
TW for addiction but it‘s a heart-wrenching and sweet novel! #NetGalley
