First day with no bathroom remodelling. My father had to go back to work. Bathroom is only half done. No new shower stall yet.

Cat is happy. Fell asleep with a deep sigh. I have to get up in a few minutes though, need to visit the DIY store again. š™

Tagged book is being reissued, I'm reading a revised copy/ARC for the author.

This was an engaging book and seemed a bit reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast to me, which I loved. While it is in no way a retelling of that tale, there were many similar elements - reclusive master of the house, a lonely beauty, and a mystery that the beauty needs to solve. If she leaves, all hope is lost.
