Wasn‘t sure how things would go after the first book, but Ms Broadbent pulled it off. 😊

Another #readyourkindle pick and second in the series which I think is only a duology. The story line got wrapped up nicely. Oraya is turning into the Queen she was meant to be and uniting the realms. Raihn is still my new book boyfriend. Not quite as good as the first book but still a pick! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
Has no one else taken the dust jacket off these books!? The covers are as incredible as the story within! I feel like my review of the first book didn‘t touch on anything within. Betrayal, love, slow burn, battles and blood… everything I love in a good fantasy. What I love most about this series is the House of Night‘s chapter has come to an end, but is still open enough for more books. I can‘t wait to get into the other houses.
I forgot to add finishing this book to my list for #20in4
I read the last 1/4 of this book and finally finished and in my previous review of the first book I did a so/so and I actually liked them both fun romance fantasy this one was a little slower in parts but all in all I enjoyed it and will continue when the next book comes out next year 🤷🏼♀️
The continuing story of a human woman who lives amongst vampires and her story of survival and love. This starts right where book 1 left off - keeping out details as it will spoil book 1. This was another action packed thriller/fantasy story with romance. There are significantly more “steamy” scenes in this book as the relationship develops.⬇️
I can‘t even put into words how much I enjoyed this book and these characters. The climax did not disappoint at all, it was intense, emotional, and action-packed. Oraya is one of my favorite FMC to date. Raihn is incredible, of course, but the SIDE CHARACTERS!?!! With the next duology being in about the House of Shadow, I‘m PRAYING it follows Mische! I love her and I‘m so intrigued with her story. I can‘t wait to see where she takes this. 🤩 5/5
What a showdown! I loved the journey of the characters. The story provided so much depth, character development and duality. The narrative from the third POV, inserting glimpses from the past was strategically well done for foreboding, building up nicely anticipation. The adventure was told in a nice pace and I was glued to the pages.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finished duology! Sobbing near the end. Vampires and humans and battles.
