Good memoir! I'm a big fan of the RHSLC so this was a fast read for me.

I actually did enjoy this book. If you are a fan of the RH franchise, I'd absolutely recommend this book. It was also surprisingly well written, considering the author is not an author by trade.
I have not heard of Heather, but decided to read this from @fredthemoose #auldlangspine list and really enjoyed it! @monalyisha
I‘m picking this one for April because it stands out as most exceeding my expectations. I appreciated how open she was with her desires and struggles and wrestling with whether and how to keep her faith tradition as part of her life.
I didn‘t know anything about this going in. I felt like it was a little bit slow in spots and I found myself getting bored with her story. It was really rushed at the end, but it was overall interesting to hear about her life and experiences.
Heather struck me as being very open in this book, almost to the point of being too revealing but that is what a memoir is for. Bad Mormon had a good balance of giving enough details about something that happened and not giving too many to make it dull, but it still left me wanting more.
I enjoyed Heather's self narration, it was funny and emotional in parts and felt very Heather. An enjoyable, revealing and interesting read.⭐⭐⭐⭐
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had no idea who Heather Gay was when I grabbed this for the catchy title. I‘ve never seen a single episode of any Housewives season, though now I‘m tempted to watch SLC, especially since we lived in Holladay for a couple years. This exceeded expectations. Gay speaks of growing up in the LDS church, and the challenges she faced coming of age; big life decisions, marriage, kids, business, divorce, & the show. Solid (sorta) celeb memoir.
