God I missed this 'verse. I will say I felt like it took a minute for the events to actually have stakes (no pun intended), but I loved Célie getting her own say, and I'm always a sucker for vampires (pun definitely intended). And the EPILOGUE. Can't wait to see where this goes!!! #yalit #yafantasy

This #chunkier is a soft pick for me. Whilst it was engaging at times...there were times my mind wandered. Despite this I did enjoy the story...so color me confused as to why it didn't resonate with me more. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks
