I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Star Wars High Republic books for middle grade are becoming some of my favorites. In the one Silandro Sho and her Apprentice Rooper are on Gloam. They are there to find out what happened to the Jedi that had recently been there and disappeared.

These books are just feel good novels to me. They're like coming home after a long day. Yes, they might be Disney in book form, but they are Disney in book form. In a very good way. Compared to older Star Wars books they focus less on action, but more on character development. The writing style is comfortable and therefore fitting for the young audience. Yes, this book was good for my soul. A true Jedi it is.

BookwormAHN I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm about to start it, and I agree about the feel-good nature of the stories. There is a cozy Star Wars vibe to a lot of these 😺 1y
Jari-chan Cozy Star Wars - I love that expression! 😍 1y

Repost for @BookwormAHN

So in July we finished up the Han Solo Trilogy. I know I have mixed feelings about the books. I think my favorite was the 2nd one. What was y'all favorite?
In August we head back to the time of the High Republic with Quest For The Hidden City. I'm looking forward to this one.
As always if anyone wants to be added or removed just let me know. And May the Force Be With You Always 🚀

Jari-chan To me it was the best part, even though at the end it lacked again. Still better than the movie 🙈 I started the new book as well, review of the Solo book will follow! 1y
BookwormAHN @Jari-chan The movie definitely lacked something, it almost didn't feel like a Star Wars movie. 1y
Jari-chan @BookwormAHN Exactly! And it didn't really feel like Han Solo at all. 1y
