Armchair travelling this weekend - to the Amazon first. I think someone on Litsy sent me this book, perhaps in a swap, and I'm really sorry, I can't remember who!! If it was you, thank you ❤️❤️

@Clare-Dragonfly I‘m sure the intricate details will evolve over time but right now, my practice is this:
I light candles; I make sure to always have fresh flowers on my altar (a little bit of nature, inside: what Jay Griffiths calls: the “natural world, writ little”); I have pre-cut squares of cardstock & watercolor markers ready to go. I meditate on a word (it can also be a person, a name) that I want to focus on for the day. 👇🏻
I started a new ritual practice this morning, based on a piece by Jay Griffiths. It feels good! 🙌🏻 Now, hopefully I stick with it. Let me know if you want details; I‘d be happy to share.
“Many people profess no clear religion...and yet...a yearning persists to rekindle it from a stub of candle, a petal, a word.”
Cheeky coffee at lunchtime 😊😊😊 I ❤️ this book, it's fascinating. Jay Griffiths travelled the world visiting cultures and meeting people. It took her 7 years to write this book but it's so beautiful I want to cry on every other page!!!
How I feel about golf eloquently put by someone much smarter than myself
Desperately needed a night in to myself after many many insane months :) and this book came very highly recommended. Ready to huddle in all I need now is a cup of tea ❤️❤️
