What are your book plans for 2024?
Anyone trying something new?
How do or do you keep track of all your reading groups ?

#holidayfriends

AmyG I keep a journal of my challenges by year. I will be doing Bookspin, Author a Month, Litsy2B24, Sunday Buddy Read, TBR Tarot to name a few. Golden Age Crime Club if it‘s on for 2024. 4mo
Bookwormjillk I keep a journal in the back of my planner. Once again I want to use all of the Litsy challenges to read my TBR down. We‘ll see 🤣 4mo
janeycanuck This‘ll be my second year with the Always Fully Booked planner. I need to sit down and get everything set up still. That‘s this weekend‘s project! 4mo

Andrew65 I‘m starting to use Storygraph to keep a central record of all reading groups and reading challenges because gets increasingly difficult 😂 Want to read more historical fiction in 2024 and clock up many of those bigger books, including fantasy ones like Robin Hobb. (edited) 4mo
IndoorDame I will be trying to focus on less reading, slower reading, fewer groups and challenges, more spontaneity, more reading from my own shelves, and more re-reading. But I especially like Bookspin, Sunday Buddy Read, Hashtagbrigaide, and Author A Month, so I‘m keeping those. I track and rate reads and keep track of challenges on StoryGraph and I‘m trying out a new TBR app called TBR-Bookshelf that @StayCurious turned me on to (edited) 4mo
kspenmoll I just keep a separate notebook and write down each book I read by month. In a smaller notebook I keep a list of the challenges I‘m participating in and any buddy reads. My one goal is to attack my stack of book of the month books. 4mo
TheBookHippie @kspenmoll I have to get a system !!! 🙃🤣 4mo
TheBookHippie @Bookwormjillk 🤣🤣🤣🤣 4mo
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 I was keeping it all by memory 🤣 this is failing 🤣 4mo
TheBookHippie @AmyG I have to start writing it down!! 4mo
Andrew65 @TheBookHippie Me too, some big holes in that net 😂 4mo
TheBookHippie @Andrew65 RIGHT??? 🤣 4mo
AnnR My accurate book tracking has shifted from Goodreads to LibraryThing this year. I'm horrible about updating StoryGraph. I wish there was a way to update all my bookish accounts all at once. Like @IndoorDame, I'm going to cut back on my 'planned' reading in 2024 and focus on my TBR list, which mostly is a collection of Kindle books, audiobooks and a few HB books. I would like to complete The #1 Ladies Detective Agency series in 2024. 🙂🔍📚 4mo
TheBookHippie @AnnR I don‘t keep track of what I read but what I‘m reading and challenges and group reads. I tried all the things it‘s just too much🤣🙃😵‍💫. And I don‘t care. 4mo
Tamra I‘m a mood reader, so no plans aside from #Mtcookbook, #FurrowedMiddleBrowClub, and #PersephoneClub I‘m excited for a new reading year! I don‘t have the time or organization for keeping track of books outside of Litsy & Goodreads. 😅 (edited) 4mo
TheBookHippie @Tamra I only keep track of what I‘m reading not what I‘ve read! I have no time for that! 4mo
TheBookHippie @Tamra I am very excited for #Mtcookbook !! 4mo
Tamra @TheBookHippie me too! I have just started to go thru some cookbooks and decide on recipes. Fills me with joy & anticipation! 4mo
AlaMich I have used LibraryThing for many years to simply keep a running list of books I have read (or DNFed), including tags and stars. I have a terrible memory so I need some sort of record. 4mo
TheBookHippie @AlaMich my memory isn‘t getting any better with age 🤣 time to get a system! 4mo
dabbe My reading journal is this: after I finish a book, I choose 4-7 quotes from that book that moved me or will help me remember the essence of the book. I then sketch some pics to go along with the quotes if the spirit of the book gods moves me. No order by genre, just by the order in which I read them. It's fun to go back and read the quotes, plus it helps me recall the book. 💙❄️💙 4mo
TheBookHippie @dabbe this is the best!!! How wonderful. 4mo
IndoorDame @dabbe I love this!♥️ 4mo
dabbe @TheBookHippie 🤩😍😘 4mo

TheBookHippie @IMASLOWREADER please do! There is such beautiful yarn to choose from! 4mo
Roary47 I‘m going to work my way to be debt free. Maybe not this year, but I‘m going to put a huge dent in it. I forget some groups until there is a reminder. So being more organized would be nice. 4mo
