pickThis book is the true story of the Bielski brothers, if you‘ve seen the movie Defiance with Daniel Craig... the movie is based on them. Amazing story, and great writing. Shocking accounts of survival, just fascinating.
pickAmazing book! I am intrigued by true stories of the Holocaust and WWII anyway, but this biography showed the true resilience of the Jewish people during this time as well the selfish motives and agendas of the waring countries. Although it may seem small compared to the vast destruction of the entire war, the accomplishments of the Bielski brothers are astounding despite their great odds. Definitely recommend!

I haven't read the book, another one from my TBR.
Sick at home on my day off so I'm not doing much of anything. But when my headache allows I'm reading this very interesting book because I'm a history nerd. Stinky the cat loves that I'm not moving cause that means cuddles all day for him.
