Thought some poetry will help me feel “good“ also its my husband's favorite poet so.. reading her makes me feel closer to him. (if that makes sense) Anyway this is the next one on my physical TBR (for this contract) that I am going to be working on :) #TBRCrew

My husband has his MFA in poetry. Told me that Emily Dickinson is one of his “most influential“ poets in his schooling and what he modeled some of his work on. Anyway, because of COVID we weren't able to get into the actual home/museum but... I enjoyed being able to see the outside of it and we went to a little used bookstore and I bought a book of her poetry (as I had never read any before and it kinda makes me a little sad that I hadn't yet)
