I received 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝗪𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫 by 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡, courtesy of Bibliolifestyle & Harper Perennial. Published 𝘋𝘦𝘤. 𝟷𝟶, 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟺, it promises to be a fascinating tale about a Jewish winemaker in Nazi occupied France & a 21st century female American pilot, connected by a rare bottle of wine hidden from the Nazis & bearing a handwritten message behind a fake label.
LOVED this book.
What did the note glued under the label on the wine bottle mean?
Charlotte had to find out.
The wine bottle was from WWII, and the note had to have some meaning.
Takes us from present day to WWII and has a story that you won‘t be able to put down and has characters that are unforgettable.
DON‘T MISS THIS WONDERFUL READ!

Just as I was putting away my BOOKMAIL IS THE BEST MAIL sign, look what the UPS man brought. 😃
Thank you @HarperCollins

The French Winemaker‘s Daughter was a fresh approach to historical fiction during WWII. Being able to imagine what legacies were stolen from the Jews in addition to the loss of human life was haunting.
Reading about how the German‘s treated the Jews and how people who were afraid of the Germans failed to stand up is always hard. Being able to witness one kind person reaching out with love is reassuring. 💗
I‘m pretty excited about my first book of 2024 from NetGalley. I haven‘t requested a book in several years. Thanks for the Litsy encouragement! 💚
