One of the reasons I buy books by authors who are less known from Amazon is so that I can patronize the author and get my reviews published. While serving on Mesu Andrews‘s team, we experienced troubles with reviews being accepted because the reviewers weren‘t buying the books or leaving reviews for other items on Amazon. It‘s all a process.

I served as a coordinator for Mesu Andrews. I had the opportunity to host her in my home for a conference, drive her to Indiana, & meet her Mama. When this photo was taken she was speaking at a Ladies Retreat. She invited me as her guest at a time I couldn‘t afford an experience like that. She is a real woman with needs, health struggles & a heart for obeying God to love others. This is my favorite book of hers though not usually chosen by others.

my first review in several years ~ fellow Littens … These Tangled Threads is a yarn about 3 co-workers who experience struggles and make decisions that hurt each other. Ultimately, they each have to decide whether to trust and work together or hold on to fear and bitterness. ⬇️

I‘ve purchased this stack of Jacqueline Winspear books at 2 different used books stores over the past 2 days for my daughter. She is excited and I‘m thankful for media mail. 📦

#Pemberlittens #JaneAdjacent @StayCurious Oh my! This is me…the more I learn about something/someone, the more I appreciate. At work on Tuesday, I told my Lt. thank you after he shared the historical practice of a procedure. He really did help me.

I was a bit disappointed with the seemingly large selection of books outside this elementary school. Many of these books were cast off classroom books. If we want kids to enjoy reading, we need to offer them free books that are exciting. I chose this book because my 17 year old son loved the Look and Find books so this one will go in my home. library for the grandkids.

I left 2 books at this library and chose this book about butterflies for myself. 🦋

While traveling, I love to visit Little Free Libraries. I chose this book for the grandkids. Although I couldn‘t tag it, it appears to be similar to Mary Poppins but the Aunt shares the bag with Sophia.

Minutes before leaving on a short road trip with my hubby, I received #LitsyLove from a ‘old‘ friend. My 💗 is full!

This scene was hilarious to me as I imagined these fancy women rushing to gawk at one of their own as if she was practically naked without her glamour.

#SundayFunday with @BookmarkTavern This 1938 printing of Gone with the Wind belonged to my Grandma. In 1946, when my Mama was 6 weeks old, there was a house fire. This book survived but shows some damage. Still, I cherish it.

My thrift store shopping was fruitful ~ paper, stamps, ink, and a book for my personal collection (I often refer to my work days as terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days!) When my son stopped at the hardware, I perused the postcard selection. #LitsyLove 💌

I have no idea how long this book has been on my Kindle but I purposely did not bring a physical book to work today so I would be forced to use my Kindle app. I‘m glad I did. I love historical fiction.

2 days off but one day late ~ all 3 books were borrowed from Michigan libraries. My boys loved the other books by Kate & Jim McMullan and this one about the Zamboni is just as fun. Hopefully the grandkids appreciate my extroverted reading style. 🤪

My dinner date, my brother, is running late. But…I‘m prepared and ready to escape after a grueling day at work.

To celebrate release day, here is an opportunity to meet author, Sarah Loudin Thomas, later this week.

I requested this book from the library to read to the grandkids not realizing it was a chapter book. That won‘t hold their interest via Marco Polo. So…I‘m trying 2 new things today ~ Bookly and Children‘s Fiction.
