Despite the fact that I‘ve never won a Goodreads giveaway, I‘m delighted every time I receive and email and I keep trying.

Final freezer meals for this weekend ~ Baked French Toast (Cherry & Blueberry) I have purposely tried to choose recipes from different sections of the book to provide a variety of meals as I begin to fill the freezer.
2 Santa Fe Hot Dips for the freezer ~ one for our mini getaway next month and one for my girl‘s getaway in June. I even labeled the pita chips so no teenager eats them!
A friend gave me 2 boxes of books for my Little Free Library. I saved this one for me. I doubled the recipe but split the meatballs up to make 4 meals.
Mini getaway planned for next month ~ AirBnB w/ hot tub booked ☑️, wine ☑️ which books to bring ❓❓❓. Of the ones pictured, I‘ll leaning towards the tagged book. (because it is the oldest🤦🏼♀️)
“Place a fan on the plants periodically to mimic the wind.”
Purchased a couple of supplies in preparation for planting tomato seeds.
Thanks Donna for this treasure. I‘m still learning from it.
Couldn't sleep but oatmeal raisin 🍪 for breakfast should appease the men in my life since I've been making noise since 4am. I couldn't hear myself though because I'm sinking deep into this story.
Not nearly as satisfying as walking, but folding laundry while listening to this story feels like a luxury after waiting for so long to borrow it. 📚Thank goodness for the Libby app. 🎧
Working hard on this rug is easier when I watch a movie 🎥 based on a true story. I don't have time to read all the books I want.
Waiting is easier when encouragement is among the pages...🌸
On the way to a less than desirable Dr appt...at least I have something terrific to read & my husband is driving. 🍵
Thanks to @curiouserandcurioser , I now have enough crosses to put my window together. Don't hold your breath for the final project though ~ I have some fall vegetables to process & a rug to finish. Did I mention that I love pink?💗
Just to spite them she happily adopted the nickname. It stuck and she never let it bother her. Nicknames mean you matter, she told herself.
Imagine how excited I was to see that Mel Cat had this book in large print! 👀📖
I found this book, published in 2020 by a local author, in my Little Free Library this morning!
5 quarts of tomato sauce ~ proof that preserving in small batches is still very satisfying 🍅
I love when I can laugh in the middle of a murder mystery. Jaime Jo Wright spins intriguing time slip novels.
my legs are peeling ... I have to go to work at midnight ... But my son has friends to play with & I have a new book to read. Erin Bartels has already captured me in the first chapter.
Finally, MelCat is back up and running!
just a few of my beauties 🌻
@aroc In your last letter you asked what I do in a reading slump ... Well, I joined a book club / Bible study / small group. We are reading the tagged book. I need community and although I've read this book & listened to it on audiobook, this new group consists of ladies I can be real with. I won't be around#LitsyLove but I hope you enjoy your little one and find something stirring to read. 💌
@CaliforniaCay 🎉Congratulations on your job as proofreader! Although I'm stepping away from #LitsyLove, please know how much I enjoyed your card. 💌
@Wife I adore this card. I learned about Queen Liliuokalani last year as our homeschool group prepared to learn about Hawaii. No worries about my book. Someday the #MittenLittens will meet.
@magyklyXdelish I'm stepping away from #LitsyLove but wanted to thank you for your letter. This zebra stamp made me grin. 🦓😁
Time for a new book ~ found this on my bookshelf and can't remember where I got it but the timing is right. ♥️
I stopped to visit a friend in Indiana & was treated to a golf cart ride to 2 Little Free Libraries. While I did leave 2 books at this library, I was thrilled to find this one for myself. I recently listened to it on audiobook but I want to read this story again & hopefully share the truth with more people.
As you can see, I need one more cross to make this window complete. I could also remove my own and add 2. At first I didn't love the idea of overlapping them, but it is impossible to get rid of any of them. #LitsyLove
@curiouserandcurioser Wow, I am blown away by your talent and kindness. Thanks for including the verse. 💜💚💙
So much beauty and hope is evident to me when I look at this cross. Thanks @wordslinger42 I love it!
Since I won't be returning the LitsyLove for these letters, I thought I would at least share a goodbye here. I've loved every moment of receiving and sending but I am no longer able to participate. 💌 Thanks to each of you for your penpal friendship.
another waiting day while my son grows his relationship with Jesus & his peers thru a program titled Mantime http://www.impactadventures.org/partners ~ I used this opportunity to visit a Little Free Library nearby.
I loved listening to this book. Here's your chance for a fabulous deal! 🎧
Another time of waiting while the youngest joins youth group with games, rootbeer floats, & later fireworks. I'm relaxing...out of the way... & already enjoying this story. 🎇🎆
most recent rug ~ 16" x 25" Hoping,?? it sells quickly!
There‘s no way I can imagine what might happen if the world is coming to an end. But, I can prepare. Skip‘s book is a story complete with adventure, laughter, and lessons. I enjoyed the adventure and laughter. I needed the lessons to give me hope to imagine how I might prepare my family to survive the craziness of this world. .... My favorite statement from Karen is quoted here.
Since I complete most of my rug twining while my son completes his Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1, I thought I'd share an update using the tagged book. ➕➖➗✖️
That's my 13 year old son walking to Radiant Students (youth group) first the first time in several months. This campus is 45 minutes away. But I don't mind, I'm enjoying the sunshine in my car and reading the tagged book. @TheBookHippie @Wife @Sward7 #LMPBC
a large pile of proof we have a growing caterpillar 🐛
Beginning Monday with chores and a sobering life story. 🧺
@Stacypatrice I needed the comfort of our Savior today. Thanks for this soothing colored cross.
@magyklyXdelish Wow! Not only did she color 2 crosses for me, but her husband also shared his talents. I'm so thankful for your generosity. I need to make time this week to begin putting these coloring pages together.
Introducing our first caterpillar of 2020 🐛
@UwannaPublishme THANK YOU ~ for the overwhelming box of #LitsyLove for my Little Free Library! I do plan to read the tagged book before I share it. 💗
This story is excellent! Did you ever wonder what sheets look like before I cut them up? 🦌🌸🐇🌼🦨
