I‘m a sucker for reading articles about the continent we‘re reading for the #readingcontinents challenges. So since it‘s #readingtheAmericas this year, this article was fascinating.

I got a great start on #ReadingAmericas2023 in January! I read 8 books/countries. Uruguay, Jamaica and Canada were particular standouts.
Interesting idea for a book; taking the entire history of both North and South America and trying to show how the current inequalities developed. If you can get past some generalizations (which the author acknowledges), it's definitely worth a read.
In case anyone was confused by the subtitle...😜
