I‘m a sucker for a good grumpy/sunshine romance, snarky banter, chemistry that feels authentic, this book has all that and more Cowles really is one of the best romantic suspense author. There were several unpredictable twists that had me as engaged in the suspense plot as in the romance. Absolutely loved the whole Colson family can‘t wait to get to know them better in the series. You can‘t go wrong with Fragile Sanctuary, or any of Cowles books.

This was great! I am such a fan of Catherine Cowles romantic suspense books. This is the first of a new series featuring a family of foster/adopted siblings. I love a found family story. Also our suspense element is very twisty and I completely did not guess the villain. Can‘t wait for the next in this series!! Finally a 5⭐️ in a very mediocre reading month.
