The lighting in my brother‘s house is horrible and my photography is not the greatest but here is my grandpas cuckoo clock from Germany. This one is not operational and needs to be professionally repaired.

Now that I‘ve read this enjoyable fantasy, I can‘t help staring at my mother-in-law‘s cuckoo clock, wondering if Griselda is in there playing with that wise and enchanting bird! This charming book warmed my heart and stirred my fascination with this intricate timepiece. 🕰️

mrp27 Love the cuckoo clock. My mom lived in Germany as a kid on an Air Force base and they brought a few cuckoo clocks home. I have wonderful memories of my grandma lifting me up to turn the clock to the hour so the cuckoo would come out. 5mo

MemoirsForMe @mrp27 How cool! Do you still have the clocks? What a sweet memory! ❤️My husband says he remembers the cuckoos singing the hour when this clock was at his grandmother‘s house. I hope we can figure out how to get it working again. 5mo
mrp27 Both my grandparents have passed and they left one cuckoo clock to my brother, but it doesn‘t work, and they left the other cuckoo clock to my aunt who had it recently repaired so it‘s fully operational. I‘ll have to take pics when I‘m at their houses. 5mo
