Booked for Murder was an Enjoyable Getaway. It has good bones. Set in a unique small town, with a wonderful bookstore, and characters I want to know better makes me keen to know what the author has up their sleeve for the next installment of this series.

Madeline left her hometown to pursue a career on the stage. She is drawn home when her aunt passes leaving Madeline her bookstore. However, it seems someone is missing determined to drive her away. I really liked Madeline, but had a hard time getting into this one. Some parts felt rushed (the beginning) and other parts dragged (the middle) which overall gave it a disjointed feeling. Thx to NetGalley and St. Martin‘s Press Schuster for the ARC.

I was accepted today for 3 more ARCs to read this Fall. I‘m going to have a lot of ARCs to read this Fall. When I looked on my Netgalley account, it shows that I‘m up to 9 ARCs now. I might as well enjoy reading whatever I want over the Summer because in the Fall, I‘ll probably only have time to read ARCs. If I can during the Fall, I‘ll try to fit in some books that are not priority reads but I‘ll just see what happens.
