An engaged couple's compatibility is put to the test during their ill-fated early honeymoon in this smart, dazzling, and provocative summer comedy perfect for fans of People We Meet on Vacation.5 Signs You and Your Fianc Might Be Secretly Incompatible...and #3 Will Shock You!Ray Bruno and Kip Hayes are horrible on paper. Ray is a chaotic millennial ex-clickbait-writer who's been oversharing his every thought online since he was a teenager, and Kip is a pragmatic Gen X doctor who values privacy above all else. But somehow it all manages to work...until Ray convinces Kip to join him for an early honeymoon at a famous lux resort in Ray's coastal New England hometown, eschewing the tradition of bachelor parties and hoping to recharge before their end-of-August wedding. When a surprising encounter with another couple at the resort leads to a series of escalating mishaps and miscommunications, Ray and Kip are forced to look at their many differences in a stark new light, turning the trip into less of a vacation and more of a test: will they be able to work through their issues in time for the big day? Or is this marriage over before it begins?

Really enjoyed this story of Ray and Kip, both divorcees, now engaged to be married, going on an earlymoon (a pre wedding honeymoon). Id call this a relationship novel rather than a romance, because rather than wondering “will they get together?” you are wondering “will they break up?” as over their holiday all their differences get exposed. I got SO mad at one of them, wanted to slam some doors myself! 😂 Thank you for the great read @Reggie

Reggie I‘m so glad you liked this. I wanted him to leave but near the end he kinda explains that you can forget the 80% compatibility for the 20%. But yeah if I was denied by my bf at our early moon because he wants to keep up appearances I would be pissed! Happy New Year, Paula! 18h
Centique @Reggie happy new year Reggie! And my god yes, i have no tolerance for that stuff - but hopefully Kip changed his ways. I just devoured this in one day 🙌 14h

Romance is SO not my thing! This is obvious when I‘m more invested in finding out at the end of the book what he wrote in his article than if they ended up together! 🤣 I often felt like I was reading a relationship instruction manual rather than a romance story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you @Reggie for gifting me this book, and thanks @Centique for the easygoing buddy read ♥️

MrsMalaprop I‘m with you there on the romance thing. Great to get out of our reading comfort zone though 😁👏 2d

I liked this book so much. It‘s a romance that drags you through the hard stuff. Two divorced men, one from a man and one from a woman are now engaged and are taking part in a tradition known as the early moon. It‘s the trip you take together to enjoy time to yourself before the craziness of getting ready for the wedding. But for these two men nothing will go right. Listening to it on audio in the car I couldn‘t see some of the road cause I 👇🏼

Reggie was sobbing so hard. lol, you know how it goes Litsy. A pick! 5mo
