This book was unexpectedly amazing. When I got this series I hadn‘t ever heard of it before, but I read all three and rebel by Marie Lu (which was the next book after these three) in about a month or more. I would definitely recommend these. They have a lot of action and some romance as well. 10 out of 10.

Dystopian novel at its finest. Just what any Hunger Games and Divergent reader needs.

And the series is finally over. Or not. I really liked the first book but I loved the 2nd and the final book more. It‘s full of action, dramas, politics, and a realistic romance I‘ve ever read. I really loved the character June and Day and I loved how Marie Lu developed them both into something wiser and mature. And I‘m quite satisfied with the ending, it made cry (which unusual 😂) and it also made me hope some things. I really recommend this.

Eh. I received this #trilogy as a gift otherwise I don‘t think I would have continued on after Book 1, which reads as fairly unoriginal #dystopia - so many better books to read. I did think it improved in Books 2 & 3, and has a satisfactory ending. The characters were never that believable to me. But would I have rated this differently if I was 15-years-old? Oh yes.

A nice trilogy if you like dystopia. The end of the third book made me crying really hard because it's heartbreaking!
