Reading Adena‘s POV truly makes me sad all over again. I am glad I was able to know her story.

The book was slow moving. The last few chapters had my interest, but I will not be continuing the series. It didn‘t wow me that much.

RamsFan1963 You're probably better off. Book 2 is better, but the conclusion was a hot mess!! 2mo
Sci.Cricketts @RamsFan1963 I am glad to hear this!! Moving on to a different series then :) 2mo
RamsFan1963 If you're looking for a new series, I'd recommend The Devoured Worlds Trilogy by Megan E. O'Keefe. I've read the first two books, The Blighted Stars and The Fractured Dark, and I thought they were both 5 🌟 reads 2mo

It was a cute YA read. Definitely had great Rom-Com references. I think it was a little over hyped up. Cute quick read though.

A very emotional story in terms of what women have to do to fight to be heard. So many obstacles that could have been avoided if given the voice.

A novella to Maybe Someday. Warren is very comical. This book was a quick glimpse at the relationship that develops between Warren and Bridgette.

So when I picked this up I thought it was a romance Holiday read— it‘s not. I stopped reading and now I finally picked it up to finish it. The book lacked the character connection for the romance piece, but all makes sense later. I liked it, but it‘s probably a read once for me book.

Pay yourself first. Live your life the way you want to live. I went out of my comfort zone with this book, but the story is super engaging and not just a boring “this is what you do.” We follow Zoe and her story on how to live your life by paying yourself first.
