pick
Soft pick. For a debut it's not bad, but it lacked depth and setting and characters could've been more fleshed out. It works with the typical Warhammer 40K elements, so for avid readers of these books, there's nothing really new or surprising to find. For beginners, I'd say it's a good book to start with.
Sweetkokoro If you don‘t mind me asking, I was recently looking into reading Warhammer and is starting with the Sisters of Battle an okay place? They sound really interesting and have been the biggest drawing point for me. (edited) 5mo
Jari-chan @Sweetkokoro Oh, I love The Sisters! I'd recommend starting with the Novella by Danie Ware. You get a good insight into the Warhammer universe and the Sisters as well. (And it's such a good story!) 5mo
Sweetkokoro Is Novella the name of the book by Danie Ware or is it a novella? There are so many books so I want to make sure I grab the right one 5mo
Jari-chan @Sweetkokoro It's a novella and the title is “The Bloodied Rose“ - one of my favourite Warhammer books 💙 5mo
