An All-Star football player. A popular cheerleader. Together they make the perfect blend. Gia Bella I've been working this low-wage-going-nowhere job for ten years.Don't even ask about my dating life. Yes, sir, life is pretty...uneventful. That is until my hoarding dad accidentally burrito-wraps himself in his collection of fly paper. I'll pause so you can visualize that. Who should answer his bellowing cries for help, but none other than the boy next door-A.K.A. North Newson, the single man I've loved since I was six years old. Only now, he's all grown up, and still oh so handsome. With decades of unrequited love steeping, I can't fight the attraction anymore. However, there's one small issue. Just when we make progress, he pulls away as he's did last time, leaving me to wonder if he's falling for me too, or if he's just simply being a nice guy. North Newson High school was football and Gia, but life brought about one giant fumble for both. I moved on from football, going to college for coaching instead. I lucked out and scored the head coaching job at the very same school I had attended. But I never moved on from Gia no matter how hard I tried. When a second chance with Gia shows up, the instant magnetism returns, and I try my hardest to win her heart. However, there's one small issue. Someone Gia loves is working hard to keep us apart . . . but I won't be defeated again. No More Mr. Chai Guy is a 2nd chance, Brother's rival, sweet romcom with a HEA.

Cute romance novella set in the fall around a chain of Coffee Loft coffee shops. Features coffee and football ☕️ 🏈 It has a lot of the things I love in it, and the romance is sweet. It‘s a second chance, brother‘s best friend relationship. As typical with a novella, it isn‘t super duper developed and moves fairly quickly, but I adore seasonal romance novellas so I didn‘t mind. They‘re easy to read and perfect for my own morning coffee time.

BarkingMadRead This whole series is so much fun and I love that they have it on KU! 2d

This sweet of Gia and North had all the cozy vibes. High school football QR and cheerleader, next door neighbors and coffee. During and after high school, they fell apart primarily due to Gia‘s brother, Rocco. His involvement threatened their relationship and he continues to threaten it along with his shady deals. Can true love prevail?

Book 180 of the year.
