A podcast producer agrees to host a new series about modern datingbut will the show jeopardize her chance at finding real love? From the New York Times bestselling author of Evvie Drake Starts Over and Flying Solo. Longtime podcast producer Cecily Foster has always operated behind the scenes. For years, shes worked toward hosting her own show, putting everything, including her love life, on the backburner. So when her boss finally offers her the chance, shes over the moon. But theres a catch. Actually, two catches: 1) The show will be about Cecilys dating life 2) Cecily will be mentored by renowned dating coach/life coach/influencer Eliza Cassidy. Cecily would rather do anything else than put her singledom on display, especially since the last time she mixed work with romance the outcome was catastrophic. But when Cecilys boss tells her that doing the show is the only way to protect her mentee's job, she realizes she has no other choice. To make matters even more complicated, Cecily finds herself unable to stop thinking about Will, a photographer she serendipitously met while chasing a runaway dog down a busy street. Even though there are sparks between the two, Eliza forbids Cecily from dating Will, whom she believes is no better than Cecily's disappointing exes. As Cecily struggles to balance her real romantic life and the one Eliza wants to create for her, she finds herself at a crossroads. Will she fall back into old patterns, or is this her chance to finally find love that lasts?

This is the first book I've read by this author and I really liked it. I also have a Harlequin Great Dane (Sabrina) and the author depicted one perfectly. ❤️🐾 Super cute romance. I'm eager to read others by her. #romance #dogsoflitsy

This was a sweet romance but also I LOVED the parts about content creation, taking charge of your career, not waiting for someone to notice you‘re working hard, and constantly reinventing your business with shifting markets. Plus bonus, the book takes place in DC and has nothing to do with government and politics. Yes, people do live here, which is apparently a story that needs to be told more.

Susanita Real people live in DC?? Who knew!! 1w
Bookwormjillk @Susanita real live people! 1w

I‘m not much of a romance reader but I will always read Linda Holmes (and Emily Henry.) Happy to have something fun to read on this cold, dark, rainy Monday. The library came through for me again.

BooksandCoffee4Me Don‘t know where this is but oh how I would love to look out of this window. Looks like a busy city street. Is it? 2w
Bookwormjillk @BooksandCoffee4Me it‘s actually an open air metro platform in Alexandria VA just outside of Washington DC. So a little chilly but a good view. 2w

This was funny, sweet and exactly what I want from a romance. I really liked learning more about making a podcast as well.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

Adored this and found it a perfect and much-needed escape from reality! I especially loved that Linda Holmes narrated the audio version herself. My favorite of her three novels so far!

monalyisha Oooo. Thanks for the reminder! Perhaps this is the audiobook I‘ll choose for my road trip next weekend. 1mo
