Something is rotten in Okinawa...the floating stench of death hangs over the island. What is it? A strange, legged fish appears on the scene...so begins Tadashi and Kaori's spiral into the horror (and stench) of the sea. Here is the long-awaited new horror manga series from the Eisner-nominated creator of "Uzumaki," Junji Ito.

Gifting the love of books to my scholars and seeing their faces light up…PRICELESS! I‘ve never heard of the GYO but my scholar has me intrigued.

Soooo I bought more books. I went to Books-a-Million and they had just stocked their shelves. There were so many great books. I just couldn‘t help myself. Anyhow. Here‘s what I bought.

Absolutely bizarre & dark body horror from Junji Ito. Fantastic artwork and an original story, and although the narrative isn‘t always the strongest it does horror manga so well that I never really minded. Bonus of having the enigma of the Amigara fault at the end, which is one of the best pieces of horror manga I‘ve ever come across and was what first attracted me to the genre when I came across it online as a young teen.
