I‘m wondering if Laurie Woolever has any secrets left after this memoir! She shares her time as a private chef for the incredibly rich, as an assistant to Mario Batali, as well as Anthony Bourdain (Tony comes out much more lovely in the book and Batali is a pig.). She shares her personal life with great detail, not sparing any of the messiness of real life: her dating life, marriage, giving birth, becoming a mother, her own mother‘s illness.
