This made me unbelievably angry. I get it, that urge. Everyone who has worked in collections or with material culture has had that urge but has enough respect for the objects not to do that because it can damage things!

Faranae Have some minimal self-restraint, protagonist! I cannot imagine any author pulling off a redemption arc after that. 2mo

Faranae @Larkken Real archaeology is 3 months of dirt/mud/dust with spreadsheets and 9 months of viciously backstabbing your peers in snide remarks in papers (guess which part discouraged me from pursuing it 😂)
