Two authors who always have gorgeous covers - Patricia Briggs and Grace Draven
I am definitely drawn to books with beautiful covers. I live pretty books!
Today‘s #audiowalk took me through the aspen parkland and to the end of ENTREAT ME, which was a nice introduction to Grace Draven. I didn‘t fall madly in love with it, like many people seem to, but I liked it a lot and I‘ll surely read her again.
I got through another big chunk of ENTREAT ME on a windy #audiowalk through this slough and surrounding environs—but I don‘t know exactly *how* big, and Scribd lost my place when I paused to buy a coffee, and now I‘m rather grumpy. Sigh. I‘ll have to guess-and-check until I find where I left off.
ETA: I found the right chapter on the first try. Whew! Turns out, I‘ve now read about 2/3 of the book.
Big sky on today‘s #audiowalk.
I‘m enjoying my first dip into Grace Draven, who I heard about here on Litsy. Between cleaning, walking, and gaming, I‘ve burned through a nice chunk of ENTREAT ME today.
Day Two: My favorite kind of Fairytales are probably modern retellings and this is the best. It refuses to play by any rules and it's the best Beauty and the Beast retelling out there. #MarchinBooks @maich
Entreat Me is a gem of a Beauty & the Beast retelling. The heroine, Louvaen, is a confident, smart mouthed, young widow who I adore! Always happy to read about a mature woman with adult life experience as opposed to teenagers. Ballard (our cursed beast) is a mentally stable hero who does not use his painful past as a reason for being an asshole to those around him. How refreshing! Loved the characters, loved the plot. Very sexy too.🌹
#fairytaleretelling #photoadaynov16 I haven't read this one yet but have heard so many people have recommended it to me, I need to read it.
