pickIf you‘re a fan of epic fantasy set in a world on the verge of an industrial revolution—even as magic lingers—there‘s a lot to like about this story told from three POVs as a looming war collides with a spreading plague and perhaps the end of everything (not because of war but because of something to do with magic). I enjoyed this although found the story wandered occasionally. It‘s an interesting story but I‘m undecided on continuing the series.

1. I prefer reading sitting down but honestly, I‘ll read standing up, laying down, occasionally on the stationary bike (when I should really be focused on the exercising, not the reading…😬), leaning against a wall, you name it…so pretty much any which way I can.
2. Just started the tagged book last night. So far it‘s intriguing. Epic fantasy seem to be working for my reading brain right now.

Might be a good book/series, but I was bored
so-soSwan is a good writer, and I still recommend ppl try this book, but I don't think he is the writer for me. I really enjoyed two of the POV's of this book. But the third and arguably the central POV, the plot just didn't feel logical to me and the characters were irritating. Very frustrating when a writer does 90% very well, but that 10% is like a stone in the shoe that leaves you limping to the finish line in severe pain.
