A bit of a cheat, as it‘s a book of the screenplay, but when thinking of these lyrics, Truly Madly Deeply immediately came to mind.
It‘s one of my favorite movies, a heart-wrenching yet hopeful portrait of a woman‘s grief after losing her husband. The first scene wrecks me - Juliet Stevenson is so raw and I bawl every time!
Juliet is also a wonderful and prolific audio narrator and adds to any audio listen so much 🎧💕

The gorgeous Alan Rickman recites 'The Dead Woman' by Pablo Neruda in Spanish (swoon) and Juliet Stevenson does the most amazing ugly crying in the first scene that kills me every time.... On a side note- Juliet Stevenson is one of the best audio narrators out there, and does a fabulous job on many classics... I particularly love her reading Jane Austen... 💕🎧💕🎧💕
