I bailed on the book. It was a little meh to me.
The recipes look good though.
My Christmas read. With a Persephone photo bomb.
I have so many pretty bookmarks but I‘m using a grocery list. 😐
1. Snickerdoodles!
2. Traveling
3. 22
4. Home Alone but A Christmas Story is the best Christmas movie ever--obviously.
5. The Annotated Charles Dickens
1) I just tried these time cookies for the first time at a party- waffle cone texture, anise flavor. So good!!
2) Hosting forces me to get my house in order. Traveling is easier.
3) 58 so far, hope to hit 60.
4) Love them both
5) Teleportation, so I don't have to deal with my commute 😝
The best part of this book was the recipes at the end. This story was very dry and barely interesting. I only finished it because it‘s Christmas book and I felt compelled to read at least one Christmas book this holiday season.
I decided to try a Christmas book this year and so far this is just ok. At least it‘s a quick read and one of the things I like about cozy mysteries. #redbooks #view #setinwinter #jingleshelves #seasonsreadings2017 #decktheshelves
