Star Wars: The High Republic: A Valiant Vow
Star Wars: The High Republic: A Valiant Vow | Justina Ireland
6 posts | 6 read | 1 to read
The New York Times best-selling series comes to an epic conclusion in this final installment of this wave of High Republic storytelling. Written by Justina Ireland, one of the original High Republic story architects, the author of several Star Wars novels including Star Wars: The High Republic: A Test of Courage and Star Wars: The High Republic: Mission to Disaster, and a staff writer on the Netflix TV mini-series The Fall of the House of Usher. This eerie, high-stakes adventure features six full-color pages of art! It’s all been leading to this! Fan-favorite Padawans and younglings must team-up to stop the seemingly unstoppable blight all while dealing with technological terrors in the form of crab-like scav droids that destroy everything in their path!

Repost for @BookwormAHN

In August we visited Kashyyyk with Reath. I love it. What did y'all think?
Now in September we head to Aricho with Imri. I love these middle-grade books.
As always if anyone wants to be added or removed just let me know. And May the Force Be With You Always 🚀

Jari-chan I loved it too, especially towards the end. I've started with our new read as well and the beginning is already very cute. 1w

Cute story! More about Princess Rinetta than Lando, but not bad for a middle grade filler episode.

May the Fourth be with you!

This was a fun little adventure with Lando and L3-37. Nothing super special but very enjoyable.

Stuck in a car all day on a long trip = extra time for reading! 😊 This is my first read of the vacation, a fun, quick adventure about Lando Calrissian.

A cute MG Star Wars book, light and fun but still has distant worlds, a crime lord alien, and crazy flight maneuvers in the Falcon. Lando is in fine form, flippant and brash while deciding btwn becoming a legend vs paying off a few hefty debts (and which cape should he wear while doing it?). Young reader who love Shuri will love Princess Rinetta and her commitment to follow through on her promise to save another world. Nice illustrations too!
