I‘ve been MIA for the past week! Have not even barely been able to read my ebooks! 9months away from the fam means endless plans and parties and things to do! Hopefully i will get back into a less busy pattern so I can read and take some time to breathe ! But for now it‘s mtg, beer, hot Cheetos and takis with @WhiskeyMistress and @ErinSueG

He just taught me how to play almost two years ago, and I think I've only played a dozen times or so since then. But I'm trying to change that. 😊 7y
GypsyKat @TheRiehlDeal It's a little complicated. He still refreshes me on the rules when we play. I understand the basic concept pretty easily because I play Hearthstone and that's very similar. My biggest problem is that I'm not familiar with the different cards, so I just wing it most of the time using one of his decks. 7y

I came across this post on the Tor website today about inclusiveness in the fantasy genre. It discusses issues in general, but also addresses the creation of a black female Planeswalker in the wildly popular Magic: The Gathering card game. MTG is trying to do right.
