1. The cover accurately reflects the story.
2. The cover did not influence my decision. I like the cover though.

Wonderful story with relatable characters. I laughed out loud on occasion and was like “WOW” on others. I thought about the characters even when I wasn‘t reading feeling anxious about gett back to the boo.

Chelleo Stacking this. Haven‘t read anything by TM in awhile. 2y
S3V3N @Chelleo I almost didn‘t read this one, but one of my friends recommended it. I‘m glad I did. 2y

Forgot how much I liked McMillan until I picked this one up. McMillan brought each character to life with her trademark style. So happy with the future McMillan gave to Luther and Ricky. Each character had their struggles, and each one was fully fleshed out, flaws, strengths, blind spots, compassion, and all. Definitely recommend.

I really tried to get into this book, but just couldn't get into it. So my first book of the Year will be a bail

It's been a while since I've gotten to sit down and read. I grabbed this book from the Black History Month section of my local library and the month was over before I got to finish! Better late than never.
