This is What I Did:

Imagine if you had witnessed something horrific. Imagine if it had happened to your friend. And imagine if you hadn't done anything to help. That's what it's like to be Logan, an utterly frank, slightly awkward, and extremely loveable outcast enmeshed in a mysterious psychological drama. This story allows readers to piece together the sequence of events that has changed his life and changed his perspective on what it means to be a good friend and what it means to be a good person. This is What I Did: is a powerful read with clever touches, such as palindrome notes, strewn throughout the story and incorporated into the unique design of the book.

While reading “Evermore”, I found this book. It was a quick read, but one that had an impact. At first, it just seemed like an average eight-grade-boy-diary, kinda like the wimpy kid series—I was wrong. It took the darkest turn that I didn‘t expect it to take. Staying up at night to finish it, and when I did,It felt like a blade piercing through my chest. I can‘t say much about it, but I would recommend it to any realistic fiction lovers. :)

This book is an original take on abuse you kind of piece together through reading it. It was a good book. Just more young adult version of it.

It was a rough morning, but I had other plans this afternoon to distract me from #LitsyCrash2017. Went to a Christmas concert at the Washington National Cathedral in DC, which is my first time in my entire life of living here of stepping foot in this beautiful building. My mother in law specifically said she chose the seats farthest away so I‘d be able to see the entire length of the cathedral during the concert. It‘s an amazing building. 😍

BookBabe Wow, that‘s awesome. I want to go to a Christmas concert now too. Been so long since I did. 6y

erinreads @Susanita To Joy of Christmas? Or just the Cathedral in general? I really enjoyed the concert, minus the sing along bits. 😂 We left during the last round of singalongs to beat the traffic in the parking garage. I now need to go back to do the tour. The stained glasses are AMAZING. 6y

Susanita I‘m going to the concert. I know someone in the brass group who told me about it. The tour is pretty cool too, especially on a nice clear day when you can see a lot from the tower. 6y
