This was one I read to literally scratch off my reading bucket list. I also willingly admit that I read a version translated into modern English. Pretty good story about a man who would be king so badly that he gets caught up in murderous plot that he can‘t get back out of.

sixgun I saw this advertised on Facebook and I asked for it for Christmas. My semi literate family did not get it for me. LOL. So I guess I have to go get it for myself. Where did you get yours? 5y

sixgun @HufflepuffGirl90 I just noticed your name. Rock on name sister. I have such a difficult time getting through classics. Audio books are my friend, but even so, I struggle. My grandfather have me a 50 book classics collection. I've read some Shakespeare from it, that's it. I need direction. I'm glad you are enjoying yours! 5y

I‘m glad I took the time to re- read this powerful book. As you can see- I read it for enjoyment and I took my time. There were a few times I went back and read a page a second time! ...and now I can scratch it off my #100essentialbooks poster 😜
