pickI had never heard of or watched the family Youtube channel and I only became aware of it from the news. I did follow the story a little bit but to hear it in the words of the oldest daughter Shari was truly shocking. The emotional abuse and as Shari put it, psychological warfare is hard to wrap your head around when children are involved. Also the book was very well written and a really good read.

pickI liked this one a lot. The creep factor was different. What i like the most is that the story was nicely tied up at the end. No cryptic ending! I do think that if you‘ve ever dealt with or are dealing with postpartum that this book could be triggering because it does deal with some of those feelings and situations of having a newborn.

Putting all other books aside because this one finally came in at the library. I‘ve been (im)patiently waiting for it!
I bailed on Playworld because i just couldn‘t get into it. Im jumping over to this one and hope to finish it this weekend because i have two more holds to pick up!
Long weekend and an incoming snowstorm is perfect timing to start this one seeing as how its almost 500 pages!
Barnes and Noble got me again. Somehow while I‘m on my way to pick my son up from work, my car seems to always turn into the Barnes and Nobles parking lot!

Ive been reading the Wayward Children series for years so i was excited to see a new one being released.
Starting this one tonight. I have a few library books to get through and then it‘s back to my regularly scheduled TBR!
At this point “a gothic paranormal romance” is my entire personality!

so-soI‘m not sure about this one. I really wanted to like it. The best way to explain this is that the story was so slow and barely anything happened and then the author threw everything into the ending. Everything all at once. It was so chaotic.
Also this is my first finished book of the new year and we‘re not off to a good start.
I got a Thriftbooks gift card for Christmas so this is what i picked. Still in my gothic romance era!

pickCozy smut book number 2! I love these! This one was definitely way spicier than the first one. So good though! This one was about Hazel and Noah and i love how its all the same characters in each book but just focuses on one couples story. Now i can start The Christmas Tree Farm!

My Christmas TBR is not going as planned. The plan was to finish the Cinnamon Bun Book Store and then read the Christmas Tree Farm and start my Christmas TBR from there. Im skipping the Dream Harbor books for now and jumping to the rest of my TBR!

I almost made it out of Barnes & Noble with one book but then i saw this on my way to the cafe! Ive been lucky to have spent a lot of the 90‘s and early 2000‘s going to shows at Toad‘s. Some of the most epic shows and experiences! I cant wait to read the stories and say “I remember that”!

pickThis one is definitely a romance and not a cozy mystery like i initially thought. I really enjoyed the story though and it was a perfect light read for fall. I can‘t wait to start the next one since its about Hazel and Noah!
