so-soThis story took a long time to pick up and I almost bailed on it. All the boat and scuba speak in the beginning was really boring to me. Once the story picked up it was interesting. There were alternating stories happening at the same time between three characters that intertwined into one story. I really liked the idea of the story as I‘ve never read anything like it. This one was 4 stars for me. I love the recipes at the end!

pickThis being the Cat & Mouse duet is extremely fitting. This book is intense and has a lot of triggers so i don‘t want to say too much about it here. I will say i was locked in to the story and i have never read anything like it before. It ended on a cliffhanger so now i have to patiently wait for my library to get the second book. This is the fastest ive ever read a 600 page book!
Saturday night Barnes & Noble trip! Apparently Seanan Mcguire released two books that I wasn‘t even aware of!
so-soThis book was so irritating. The characters are very unlikable. Very Jekyll and Hyde. The sisters relationship also felt very off. There was one big event that hung over the whole story. You really don‘t fully know what happened until the end. There were also what i felt should have been bombshell moments that the characters just glazed over. I feel like maybe i missed someone in the story. Not a fan!
Bought myself a present! I absolutely love these covers and the matching pages!
Im fully invested in The Bombshell but my library holds came in so now so i have to jump books. Im really anxious to get back to The Bombshell because its really good so far!

pickI read Phantasma and this one back to back and i have to say that Enchantra wasnt as exciting as Phantasma. It didn‘t have the horror or intensity of Phantasma that i was looking for. It was still a really good story dont get me wrong just not as good as the first one. I can tell that there will be more to the series than just these two and im excited to see what else the author has in store for us!

pickThis book was incredible! I stayed up past my bedtime the last 3 nights and read during my lunch break and blew through this almost 500 page book! Very few books have me yelling out loud and this was one! There is a lot of gore but it isn‘t pointless gore and I should have used my smut bookmark for this one! The main character does have OCD which can be a trigger so heads up on that! I can‘t wait to start the second one on my lunch break!
To say I‘m excited for this book is an understatement! I love all things Golden Girls and i just really hope this book captures their personalities! I have two more books on my TBR before i get to this one.
I should probably read this one now that the second book is here!

Next up! I hope i don‘t run out of time on my loan for this one! I didn‘t realize it was over 400 pages.
so-soI was so excited for this one but there was way too much going on. The amount of twists and turns was very distracting. Also very unrealistic. I loved the idea of story but quite a few times i was so confused i thought i missed something. This was a miss for me but i would try another book by this author if she writes one!
So excited that my hold came in on this! I watched the author on GMA this morning and listening to her talk about the book made me even more excited to read it! She also said it‘s in development for a show! Also my library makes the best bookmarks!

pickThis book was so good! There were so many layers to this story that it was wild! It had me yelling out loud while reading! This just may be one of my favorites. I don‘t want to give a single thing away but i definitely recommend this one!

I can‘t believe i forgot to preorder Swordheart! I went to Barnes & Noble to grab it and picked up another one that was on my wishlist!
pickI had never heard of or watched the family Youtube channel and I only became aware of it from the news. I did follow the story a little bit but to hear it in the words of the oldest daughter Shari was truly shocking. The emotional abuse and as Shari put it, psychological warfare is hard to wrap your head around when children are involved. Also the book was very well written and a really good read.
I absolutely love this edition that i got from Thriftbooks!
It started snowing here so it‘s time to get cozy and start this one!
pickI liked this one a lot. The creep factor was different. What i like the most is that the story was nicely tied up at the end. No cryptic ending! I do think that if you‘ve ever dealt with or are dealing with postpartum that this book could be triggering because it does deal with some of those feelings and situations of having a newborn.

Putting all other books aside because this one finally came in at the library. I‘ve been (im)patiently waiting for it!
I bailed on Playworld because i just couldn‘t get into it. Im jumping over to this one and hope to finish it this weekend because i have two more holds to pick up!
Long weekend and an incoming snowstorm is perfect timing to start this one seeing as how its almost 500 pages!
