#19thcenturynovels #classicsTBR I am reading Cranford currently.Picked Gaskell because it ties in nicely with other posts featuring Charlotte Bronte .Gaskell wrote a biography of Bronte !a landmark of women writing about women.A shout out to the reference book! I know we all love the interweb thingy ,🙃but a good reference book a joy to have in your library. #readingwomenmonth #junebookbugs

#readingwomenmonth #19thcenturynovels. Another small stack of all books I have read. Love these authors (although I admit that Mansfield Park is my least favorite Austen) and curling up with one of these novels and a mug of tea on a rainy day.
In honor of my late aunt Felicia my pick for the #ReadingWomenMonth challenge #day23 #19thCenturyNovels is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Although we did not always agree on genres, my aunt and I shared a passion for reading and feminism. This was her favorite book. It is on my #TBR list, and with a quote like the one above, I am confident I will enjoy reading it. 🙌🏼📚
