On top of that, Mercy is still struggling with her feelings towards Adam and the pack from the last book, giving her something else to think about.
Like I said, trouble loves Mercy.

A great week of reading as I‘m currently “in between” bookstores so office based at a store with a longer commute. My audio game was good this week! 💕🎧
Arctic fury was an audio reread for a bookclub on Tuesday, and Everyone knows for #camptob was just OK.
I loved Ghosts, and REALLY loved Once There Were Wolves, a 5⭐️read, that I‘m pretty sure will be a #21in2021 at year end!🐺
Liking both my in progress, hope to finish at least one by month end.

It felt familiar and new and that was part of the fun and the intrigue. I loved the twists and turns that this went through, even if I did figure out some plot points before it happened, because of how much I was enjoying this. Oakes' take on wonderland was just as rich and detailed as I remember the original being and it took me back to that world.
