Pickpick

When I first heard of this novel I didn't think I would ever pick it up as I had it in my head that it was going to be one of those stuffy classics that I wouldn't be able to get into. I was wrong. This caught my interest from the opening line and kept my attention until the very end. Excellent and recommended. 4🌟 #68of2018 #GARbingo #greatamericanread

MelissaSue81 Interesting! Had always sounded like a stuffy classic to me too! 6y
Texreader I loved Rebecca and have probably read it 10 times. How I love so many of the books you have pictured there!!! 6y
Well-ReadNeck My absolute favorite book. I re-read it every so often and fall in love with it all over again. 6y

Jess_Franzino I‘m reading it right now. I adore classics, especially Gothic ones, but found a very slow build. However, I JUST read the part with the ball. Holy Heck, Mrs.Danvers! NOW we‘re getting somewhere! 6y
Chellebearss @MelissaSue81 it seems a bit old fashioned at first but then the pace picks up a bit and flows nicely 6y
Chellebearss @Texreader guess I saved the best for last out of the GAR 😃 6y
Chellebearss @Well-ReadNeck I‘m not big at re-reading but I did enjoy it! 6y
Chellebearss @Jess_Franzino yes, Mrs Danvers is quite a character!! 6y
