pickI've seen reviews that compare this series to Lord of the Rings, so of course I had to give it a shot! While I really liked the main character and his story, I found the end less than satisfactory. At 18 hours of audio it felt a touch long winded and for the first book in the series it didn't leave me with the urge to run out and grab the next book to find out what happens. I imagine at some point I will continue with it but no rush #94of2018 🎧

TracyReadsBooks I enjoyed the book and am definitely excited to see what happens with the announced movie/tv adaptations. Lin-Manuel Miranda is attached as creative producer and “musical mastermind” according to Variety. Fingers crossed it all happens and it‘s good! 6y
