Not my first LITRPG but a series definitely worth picking up. I am using audible for my hour work commute but the story has had me wanting to listen to it almost any chance I can.

A solid installment, though it definitely feels like a middle book and a little long/repetitive at times. It is still great to be back with these characters, though I am very concerned about their well being at the end of this book. 4⭐️

This was an excellent entry in this series. I can‘t really dive into it as it is book 4 of the series. This does have great character moments, action and moments of anguish. I will be getting to the next book next month for sure! 5⭐️

The perspective of a livesuit solider, on the other side of an endless and timeless war.
I'm really enjoying this series. There are definitely a lot of horror elements to the series and the aliens.
There were some genuinely good moments in this book, but on the other hand, there were so many toxic male fantasy tropes.
MC being afflicted by madness was fun for a while until it was just taking too long to cure and I got sick of being hammered over the head of how everything he perceived was fake.
I could have also gone without the martial rape garbage.
Another blast of an adventure with this delightful cast of characters. There were some truly harrowing sections too. The only bummer is I am now caught up on this series and have to wait for the next one! 5⭐️

A lot of the plot points in this book were really weird and unnecessary, but when the book dealt with the main plot it was fine.
There were some parts where I was wondering if it was the aurhor's poorly disguised fetish or if it was something with the game lore itself that he borrowed from
A good novella in the new Captive's War series. I'd also read earlier the first novel in this series and liked it very much. Can't wait to see what the James S.. A. Corey duo gives us next!
