pickI absolutely love the #AndyCarpenterSeries and this 32nd installment is another holiday one (while Laurie may be already listening to Christmas music, I am not quite there yet!), and Andy takes on a new case with much less reluctance than usual. A man rescued a golden retriever puppy from the building where an explosion claimed the life of his girlfriend & 6 others, but now he‘s wanted for the murder of the building‘s owner! Fast-paced & funny!

In this prequel, we get to experience Andy‘s meeting Tara (the golden really is ageless— no puppy antics, disappointingly!), as well as Laurie & his first meal at Charlie‘s! Not to mention his first time defending an accused murderer! So much fun that it makes me want to binge re-reading the whole rest of the series! Funny & fun!

When terrier Murphy gets lost and runs to the Carpenter home, it doesn‘t take long to return him— but when Andy learns BJ is in jail for murdering his professor, he steps in & uncovers a much larger plot! As fun & genuinely funny as always!

The dog lover wrongfully accused this time comes from Marcus‘ request for a favor. One of his mentees allegedly committed a workplace mass shooting! It‘s not long before the usual cast tracks down leads to uncover a lethal conspiracy! With its consistent humor & tension, this is a fun read with your best furry friend!
pickHard to believe that this is the 23rd installment in the fantastic #AndyCarpenterSeries! As usual, this is impossible to put down- a page turner that makes you laugh out loud throughout and still be excited to see the plot‘s turns and twists! And I loved the new Maine setting! Fun to see real restaurants featured! And a cameo from the author himself! 🤣 #DogsOfLitsy
