The most perfect detail of this new BSC is that musical-lover Mary Anne gets a Be More Chill poster in her newly redecorated room. I can just see this shy, emotional girl rocking out to I Love Play Rehearsal and Michael in the Bathroom and making her own Creeps shirt and stanning the whole cast. This tracks 100%. I think this reboot gets so many things right- the cast is perfection, and the updated 2020 setting (and accompanying issues) don't feel forced; they stay in line with the simplicity of the books and the way the characters grow and learn throughout. The series gets a solid A from me. I'd love to hear your take! 4y
