panI struggle with this series, and yet the cupcakes keep me coming back. This is book 7–some this far have been good, others not so much. This one I really did not like.
This one focuses more on the personal lives of Mel and Angie rather than the mystery. A woman who looks like Angie is killed at a zombie walk. It‘s pretty obvious Angie was the target (it‘s related to an ongoing situation from the prior 2 books…I‘m going to be as spoiler free ⬇️⬇️
pick3.5 ⭐ This is a bad ghost who‘s afraid. But one year when he doesn‘t get what he most wants from his family, he decides the only way to ensure that is to become less afraid. He spends the year slowly building up stamina so that he can join his family to get what they most desired. Occasionally, there‘s a setback, but the setbacks make him stronger in the end. This is a great message. The story is a little long, but in total

pick5✨ This book was amazing! I‘ve been really liking the twisted tales I have already read so I was really excited when my friend suggested I read this one for my #12in12 personal challenge. Sally‘s character grew a lot in this story, and she helped others to be proud of who they were. I liked that even through it was based in Christmas town it was where the bad guy was, and the characters were facing the issues in the story.
