4.7⭐️ I had to slow start with this book, which is the only reason I got 4.7 and not 5 stars. Otherwise, the story was an amazing and super quick read. Once it had me, I could not put it down. If you‘re looking for a great Halloween read, this is one for you. And to follow it up, there‘s also a movie based off this book, which I will be watching this weekend. 10 out of 10 recommend. This was also my #DoubleBookSpin for June‘s #BookSpinBingo.

Gissy I read this book I found it in someway sad😢I will love to watch the movie adaptation, what is the title, same as the book? 1d

Just a stunning beautiful picture book about a ghost who feels left out because he wears a quilt while all the other ghosts have the white sheets. However, throughout the book he finds out that his uniqueness is not so bad. Love the story and the artwork.

Susanita That sounds adorable! 1d
ncsufoxes My daughter loves this book. It‘s one of her favorite Halloween books (we have a huge collection that we pull out every year to read). 1d

My kind of Halloween decorations… pink and sparkly!!

ElizaMarie We went to Michael's the other day, and my husband's first response was -- “look, things for your office“. I love this aesthetic! 3d

Roary47 I wish they weren‘t in the summer when I pinch pennies for my next paycheck. So cute! Why I walked into traffic Michael‘s during the summer? I dunno, it‘s too dangerous for my wallet! 🫣 3d

Five bingos! I confess, I read a couple of picture books for the covers... but I couldn't not have a rainbow book for June, right?

TheBookHippie It all counts! 4d
willaful @TheBookHippie So annoying though, I read 9 books with queer authors and/or content and not a single rainbow cover! Well, I guess 10 books now. :-) 4d

What does it take to stand up for the right to read? For Amanda Jones, it took extraordinary courage and unwavering conviction. After sharing a thoughtful, respectful comment about the dangers of censorship, she became the target of viral misinformation and harsh public criticism.

Cute queer romance. Shallow story retelling The Legend of Sleepy Hollow but with real magic and ghosts. Normally YA queer romance graphic novel retelling on a Halloween theme would be my EXACT cup of tea, but I just didn‘t find this compelling. The villain was really over the top.
