Just freaking gorgeous. A collection of linked, lyrical, super short essays (nano fiction?)that were posted as Craig‘s List m4w Missed Connections from Sept-Nov 2010. Beautifully observant, poignant and moving. Oddly voyeuristic yet strangely romantic. Disappearing after 45 days as they did. Such a unique way to tell a story.

This is a blend of fantasy and historical fiction that expands the myth of Yemaya, a Yoruba goddess. She falls in love with a human, and when enslavers capture him, she follows him to America.
