I Can't Breathe | Matt Taibbi

Four books published in the past few years, addressing police brutality & inequality in the criminal justice system. I have only read the Hayes, which I found to be very informative & helpful to frame these issues. The others are on my TBR. (Side note: I do not recommend the Hayes as an audio book. The impersonations of people in quoted passages are too abrupt & disruptive of the flow of the book.) #CopTown #MusicalNewYear

This is the second book in a trilogy- the first was a favorite (especially recommend audio). This one is still a TBR. Those copper stars created NYC‘s #coptown and first officially organized law enforcement. #musicalnewyear
