The tagged is this month‘s read for the LGBTQ+ book club I am a part of. The meeting is today and I‘m only about 1/3 of the way through. It is a slough. A lot of prior knowledge is assumed. It could be made so much better with a “cast” list. I‘m digging in while I wait for my partner‘s dissertation defense. We‘ll see how far I get. At least it‘s taking all my focus and making me a bit less anxious as a result.

pickLate update on the weekend when I completed the last two books for #Booked2018
I read almost all the titles on Overdrive but I wanted to get hold of the physical books to post (I am whimsy like that ;))
Queen Latifah's book seemed right for #BodyPositive but it was mostly an inspiration memoir with life lessons. Somewhat trite but so many useful reminders about living to the fullest or at least contentedly. Short chapters kept this an easy read

Have read this and loved every word she said it was the best
so-soJennifer talks about her career and weight loss journey, all of which is interesting, but distinctly different tones throughout the book diminished the impact of her story a bit. I still look forward to following the career of this young and talented woman.
