After completing this book, I've realized how much growth and courage was taken place. I've reflected on how much I have done with same being in my early 20's, I've learning, loved, lost, and grown from all my experiences in life (and it wasn't easy). Jude's journey is very inspiring and I learned a lot from what this book had to offer.

Jude is experiencing so much right now in her life and making good changes for herself. I'm glad she has finally been able to wear her scarf and wear it with confidence! I remember in the beginning she was dying to wear it, and now she is finally able to!

After reading, I've fallen in love with the power and energy the books gives off. A quote that really stuck out to me was “Hope, I'm starting to think, might be the bravest thing a person can do.“ I love the courage it takes to see what capabilities she has.

Growth is such a huge part of our human experience. I know that as I have continued on through my 20s I learned lessons time and again that I thought I learned as a kid. Some of them I learned the hard way. Some of them through the cautions of those older than me who had chosen a wrong path. Jude‘s path has been rough and winding but it makes her who she is just like me. @NCHPedsReads #FEBPedsReads

Johernandez I think growth is key. The book helped me look at things from Judes perspective coming from the Middle East. Excited to move onto the next book but sad to leave this one. 4y

Hello I‘m Freddie and I am reading Junie B Jones “and the stupid smelly Bus” My favorite color is purple and excited to be in the book club

LibrarianRyan I love this book, and have actually been on the Stupid Smelly buss. It made a stop at the bookstore across the street from my apartment. It was cool (even if at the time I had no idea what it was (and I thought the bookstore was off track betting). 4y
CodyFordPEDS Hi Freddie! You definitely got me interested in reading this book. I definitely want to know why the bus is smelly and I‘m excited you are in book club as well! @NCHPedsReads #FebPedsReads 4y

Over the weekend I finished the book while watching middle school basketball. So many people asked me about the story & fascinated with the illustration on the cover. I felt unsettled after finishing this story... I wanted more from her!!!!! #NCHPEDSReads #FEBPEDsReads @NCHPedsReads

Hope is such a wonderful agent for change. Though some people take activism to an extreme and resort to violence, that is the way they can sometimes manifest hope. Jude is full of hope for all of her loved ones and takes hope in a non-violent path. From the members of her family she leaves behind to her new acquaintances in the US, she hopes for growth and peace. @NCHPedsReads #FEBPEDSreads

Jude is going through a lot of changes right now! The biggest thing going on in her life right now is she is finally able to wear a scarf! I remember in the beginning of the story she felt Fatima was “kilometers ahead of her” since she was the first girl in their class to wear a scar. On a side note, I loved this quote ❤️ #FEBPedsReads #NCHPEDsReads

CodyFordPEDS I know there are people in my life that support me and make me feel like fully baked bread. I think we all need those people to get through the roughest and undefined parts of life! I‘m glad Jude found that in herself and others! @NCHPedsReads #FebPEDSReads 4y
HappyMaddy Awe I love this. I like to bake bread, literally & figuratively!!! Jude really warms my heart like baked bread too. @NCHPedsReads #FebPEDSReads 4y
