I made it over to a few local comic shops in my area today for #FreeComicBookDay! One shop was also giving out bags stuffed with a random assortment of backissue comics, which was a fun addition to today's goodies. We wound up purchasing some booster packs and (more) comics, supporting them during our visit 😉 #Comics

My husband found this among the Free Comic book Day comics at our local comic shop. He fell in love with it. It's not often he begs me to read one of his books. #comic #freecomicbookday #shoplocal

I read the #freecomicbookday short for this graphic novel and liked it enough to read the full story. It was cool but I found myself a little annoyed with the main villain, mostly because there was an easy out that no one took.

I saw this one on #freecomicbookday but decided to get it from the library. Super charming! I am going to keep reading.

I picked this up on #freecomicbookday to support my local store and read it right away. I love the world it was building, the science, and the mystery set up.

This is my comic score for the week. The wonderful people at Summit Comics in Lansing, MI set aside a copy of Animosity Tales for me because I couldn‘t make it in on #freecomicbookday. And the end of Paper Girls is coming. Only two more issues left.
