This title caught my eye in a newsletter from Homesteading Family. A quick read of reviews and the premise of the book sold me. I look forward to reading it....starting now.

We've had glorious weather here all week, so lots of joy
1) Blue skies and 🌞
2) Birdsong 🐦🐦⬛
3) Planning and working on my garden. 👩🌾
4) Late night fire side chats with my teens. ❤️
5) This made me guffaw, as I have this skillset. She's gonna take out Wales when that corset pings off!!
I loved reading this book but I know a kitchen garden like the ones the author creates is just not for me. I love a big rambling vegetable garden.@I‘m not one for aesthetic or neat….i love the beauty of chaos! But I learned a lot from this book and plan to use a few ideas in our organic garden.
Random book from our home library:
📖 Panoramas of English Gardens by David Wheeler and Nick Meers
I have been waiting 12 weeks for this one to come in from the library. Looking forward to starting it tomorrow.
💦 We “checked out” some seeds from the seed library at our public library for the first time!
We got the zinnia seeds and desert wildflowers. Next step is to plant them! 🌱
Classic Martha vs New Martha. Martha Stewart's Gardening Month by Month is old favorite of mine. Yes it's a bit dated, but I'm always inspired by it. I usually flip through whatever month we are in. Plus it has seasonal recipes.
I was excited to get my hands the first new Martha gardening book in 30 years - Martha Stewart's Gardening Handbook. ⬇️
Oh, I wish you could see/hear the video of “my” little finch enjoying the fountain in my backyard! Perfect day for reading this book that I found at #bartsbooks in Ojai, CA. 💛

Loved this little book. I never knew there was so much to these gorgeous flowers. I also picked up some tips as to why I have no flowers yet…need to wait another two years!
I love peonies, they are the flower I always buy for my step gran. I‘m trying to grow one with no luck currently.
