Mr. Hockey: My Story | Gordie Howe

Time for some hockey...visiting the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit 1) so I can see it before it is torn down and 2) so I can cheer on my favorite team in their only visit to town this season (#GoKingsGo!). We are literally in the very last row & this is our view. Not bad, huh?

GlitteryOtters @sprainedbrain when the seats in front of us are filled, we have to stand to see, but as we are the last row that isn't a problem for me (it is for my husband, though, as the ceiling is about 6'2" above our heads & he is 6'4" ??). 8y

I just realized that the Jersey I'm wearing is one of my oldest pieces of clothing (23 or 24 years old--my other oldest one is a U of Maine sweatshirt I bought back when Paul Kariya was freshman there & when Islanders GM Garth Snow played on the team 😂😂 All my oldest & most beloved clothing is hockey related!) 8y
